Brief Profile

Mr. Ashis Banerjee is working as a consultant at ICRIER. He studied Political Science at the Universities of Allahabad and Oxford. He has been a Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research and at the Centre for Contemporary Studies, New Delhi. For a number of years he was the Member-Secretary of the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage. He now works as a free lance consultant. He is currently involved with The National Interest Project at ICRIER. The objective of the project is to outline India’s external policy for the next decade and beyond.
