Ms Deepika Wadhwa

Research Associate

Brief Profile

Deepika Wadhwa is a Research Associate at ICRIER. She has worked on a number of major studies at ICRIER which include “Labour Intensity and Employment Potential of Organized Indian Manufacturing” and “Special Safeguard Mechanisms and Special Products in the Doha Round of Negotiations”. She completed her M.Phil in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2004. In her PhD, she is working on issues relating to export competitiveness of the manufacturing sector, focusing on steel industry. Her broad areas of research interest are industrial development and international competitiveness of manufacturing sector, international trade and FDI, and WTO issues in agriculture.
