Dony Alex
Research Associate

Brief Profile

Dony Alex is a Research Associate at ICRIER since August 2008. He has submitted his M.Phil Thesis from Department of Business Economics, University of Delhi.

Earlier he had worked at the Institute of Economic Growth as a Senior Research Analyst. His main focus is in the area of macro and monetary economic issues.  He especially helped in the Monthly Monitor which provided short term forecasts and analysis of select macroeconomic variables for Indian economy.  

His main area of interest is macroeconomics, monetary economics and International trade. Presently he has been working in the area of monetary economics where he has worked on finding the Threshold level of inflation for India and on the feasibility of inflation targeting as a monetary policy framework for India.
