Brief Profile

Nirupama Soundararajan joined Icrier in April, 2007. At ICRIER she is currently working on Reforms in Education along with Keio University in Japan to be submitted to the Japan Bank of International Cooperation. She is also part of the team at ICRIER that is studying the Impact of Organized Retail on the Unorganized Sector to be shortly submitted to the Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India.

She obtained an MSc in Financial Economics and an MBA (Finance) from Cardiff University, UK. Her broad areas of interest are related to finance, retail, education and globalization.
