Vani Archana is a gold medalist in M.A. (Economics) with specialization in econometrics and mathematical economics, and a Ph.D. (Foreign Direct Investment in India) from IIT, Kharagpur. She has interest in application of quantitative methods in applied economics and has pioneered new methods of analysis in the field of FDI in India. Prior to joining ICRIER she was working as a senior lecturer at IMT Ghaziabad and has taught subjects like micro, macro and business environment. She has published articles in national and international journals and presented papers at conferences.
