ICRIER, now in its 25th year, is an autonomous, policy oriented, not-for-profit research institute and has emerged as one of the leading think tanks in India with its clear focus on supporting India’s interface with the global economy.

ICRIER offices are located in the India Habitat Center, one of the most beautiful institutional complexes in the country. The IHC community comprises some leading research institutes, NGOs and think tanks that contribute to a very active calendar of seminars, meetings and cultural events. ICRIER provides state-of-the-art computer and internet facilities and encourages international and regional networking in the six thrust research areas. More important ICRIER is reputed for its collegial and friendly working environment that fosters team work.

Salaries are constantly under review to ensure that the remuneration package is at par or perhaps better than the best research/management institutions in India.

Additionally, a special housing allowance can be considered for Professors. ICRIER also permits its faculty to undertake consultancy assignments for 40 days a year and a nominal amount of 5% is shared with ICRIER. All staff is encouraged to publish under their name in academic journals and in the popular press.

ICRIER is currently looking to appoint Professors, Senior Fellows and Fellows to strengthen its in-house team. For these positions we are looking for candidates with good post-graduate degrees and preferably a Ph.D. from a reputed Indian or foreign university or equivalent publication record and research and teaching or research experience in its six thrust areas.

Over the years ICRIER has built up a strong network of resource persons both with-in India and abroad, who work as short term consultants on research projects undertaken by ICRIER. We encourage highly qualified and experienced professionals to register their areas of interests with us for a possible opening in future. ICRIER encourages faculty members of college/universities and business schools to work part time with our in-house team on areas of mutual interest.
