A Roundtable Discussion: People Moving, Jobs Moving: The Impact of Migration between UK and India

ICRIER in collaboration with the Global Development Network (GDN) and the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) organised a roundtable discussion on ‘People Moving, Jobs Moving: The Impact of Migration between UK and India’.

This roundtable focused on key aspects of migration flows between India and the UK towards a better understanding of how changing economic and demographic conditions affect flows of people and jobs and more importantly, participants will discuss strategies to enable migration flows to positively benefit India’s economic development.

Mr. N.K. Singh, Board Member, ICRIER and former member of the Global Commission on International Migration has chaired the roundtable. Senior policymakers, academics and industry representatives participated in the discussion.
