The objective of the seminar was to spell out the opportunities and challenges for Indo-Japanese Economic Cooperation in today’s rapidly globalizing world. The Conference brought together some of the eminent policy makers, academicians, corporate executives and researchers working in the broad area of India-Japan Economic Cooperation. The Conference attempted to identify and suggest measures to fill the existing gaps in the policy aspects in both these countries to strengthen the economic cooperation between them. It aimed to identify future research domain on the subject. The detailed programme-structure of the Conference was as follows-
